Busy little hands washing, sorting and spontaneously we started
counting and grouping the shells by size and colour.
I purchased this little wooden caddy from Spotlight awhile back...we painted it white and glued on a couple of shells and a piece of coral from our beach collection. I use the caddy to store and display our new discoveries.
A coffee jar holding shells from our weekend at the beach....the twine holds in place a small piece of coral found in one of the rock pools.
I have lots of activities up my sleeve for this week....a shell mobile for the garden is the
first one on my list.
Have a beautiful week wherever you may be...

This looks so beautiful! I love how you have taken every day objects and transformed them into something of wonder. I need to get to the beach to start collecting...
Looks lovely Sarah. I cant wait until the weather warms up a bit more so we can go shell collecting, would you believe we have snow here today!? Oh how I miss the warm beach but its lovely to see your beautiful shell collection.
Great collection and I'm sure it was a really fun time doing all the collecting. I have great memories of collecting shells at the beach when I was younger. Lots put into plaster of paris moulds and displayed as well. Very cool. Lou.
