The good old days...

Sticky toffee and chocolate slice with coconut sprinkled on top baked by mummy's and Nana's, bric a brac and vintage books, animal farms and side show alley...today we visited a little school for morning tea at their annual fair. It's been a very long time since we had visited one of these, and it was fun.
Full of community spirit and hard working parents ~ working together to achieve the same outcome. I purchased some beautiful old Ladybird books with well read pages and inscriptions...I can't wait to snuggle up tight with my little one and read them. School Fair's have not changed ~ the sweet stall still has the same sticky fairy floss and little bags filled with lollies...I found this a little surprising ~ pleasing though. It was a step back in time and it was fun!

We too had our school fair last week. We live in a community that works hard to make the local school be the best. It makes such a difference bringing up children in this environment.
Glad you enjoyed yourself too.

I LOVE those shoes! I can't wait until my little men can wear a whole array of cute shoes. I dress them in lots of shoes at the moment, but they're more interested in pulling them off and eating them :)
